Getting around MAC address filtering is many orders of magnitude easier and less resource intensive than cracking WPA.
To be fair, it’s at least as useless as DOS 4. Toshiba’s usually only came with two different wireless cards, an Intel or an Atheros Atheros mainly on the low-end models.
You will need to replace the card with a supported one. Looks like I’ll be trying it again now that he has the driver working for it.
